Budget 2024 non-domiciled proposals – CIOT submissions

The CIOT have submitted papers to HMRC and HM Treasury outlining concerns with the proposals for changes to the ‘non-dom’ regime from April 2025. More specifically these papers address proposals surrounding foreign income and gains and the ‘temporary repatriation facility’ to remit previous years’ income/gains in 2025/26 and 2026/27.
