Certificates of Merit awarded
Four Certificates of Merit were presented at last night's CIOT President's Reception.

Certificates of Merit are awarded to members or non-members of the CIOT who have played a crucial role in the workings of the Institute.
Those present to receive their certificates at last night's reception were (from left to right in picture, with CIOT President Bill Dodwell in middle):
Douglas Roxburgh – awarded his certificate for his many years of service to members via the telephone line Members Support Service
Andrew McKenzie-Smart – for his chairmanship of the Joint Branches sub-Committee and Branches Conferences and Forums
Larry Darby – for services to taxpayers on low incomes, via LITRG
Pete Miller – for his conference lecturing and contribution to the Education Committee
Additionally two further Certificates of Merit have been awarded to people who were unable to be present at last night's reception -
Richard Brunton – for services to the Institute in Scotland
Liz Densley – for her many years of service to members via the telephone line Members Support Service
Congratulations to all six recipients.
