Diploma in Tax Technology Bursaries
The future of tax is digital, education in tax and technology is essential to ensure tax professionals keep pace with technological advancements.
The CIOT is delighted to announce that there is now a bursary for those eligible and wanting to study the DITT. The Bursary will support members of the CIOT, Chartered Tax Advisers, who have been on a career break for a minimum of one year and would like to pursue the DITT qualification to help them re-enter the profession.
The 2024 TABF Bursary is sponsored by the Tax Advisers’ Benevolent Fund (TABF), a charity of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers (WCTA).
About the Bursary
The 2024 TABF Bursary is for CIOT members returning to work and will be awarded to three recipients annually. The bursary will cover all fees related to the Diploma in Tax Technology, amounting to a total £627.60 each. For each recipient, this includes:
- £77: CIOT registration fee
- £435.60: course materials and assessments fee (VAT inclusive on the material)
- £115: certificate fee
Who can apply?
- You must be a member of the CIOT
- Have been on a career break for a minimum of one year
- Would suffer financial hardship if funding the qualification fees yourself.
How to apply
If you are eligible for the TABF Bursary, please complete the application form by 1 March 2024.
Eligible applications will be reviewed by the CIOT DITT Committee who will then make recommendations to TABF after the closing date has passed.
You will be notified via email by early April 2024, whether your application is successful or not. We wish you the best of luck.
