Shan Sun

Shan Sun is the Tax Technology Lead at Deliveroo, working with engineering and finance departments of the business to optimise tax systems and processes, specifically in relation to data and ERCP. Shan’s work focusses on ensuring the tax relevant data (including sensitive personal and financial data) is consistent, accountable and accurate. A solid data foundation is essential to ensure robust tax reporting and compliance, risk management and insightful analytics. Prior to Deliveroo, Shan worked as the Tax Lead at Unilever. She started her career 15 years ago as a Transfer Pricing Specialist. Shan is also a CIOT council member.

Pablo Sprechmann

Pablo is a staff research scientist at Google DeepMind, specialises in various aspects of artificial intelligence, including generative AI, deep reinforcement learning, and memory-augmented neural networks. He holds EE and MSc degrees from Universidad de la República, Uruguay, and a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota. Pablo was a postdoctoral researcher at the CILVR Lab at NYU and co-founded Khipu, a non-profit supporting Latin American talent and research in AI.

Alexander Kobakhidze

Alexander is a TaxTech Director at Fonoa with a background in indirect taxes (VAT/GST) in the platform and online economy. Before joining Fonoa, Alexander was the Global Head of TaxTech at Uber, where he and his team worked with internal and external stakeholders to develop tools that automated tax compliance processes for Uber and the platform's users. Today, Alexander supports intragovernmental institutions like the OECD with their work on the sharing and gig economy, digital identity, and digital reporting.

Erica Perry

Erica Perry leads KPMG’s transfer pricing practice in the UK. Erica has worked in transfer pricing since 2008 and her experience covers the full lifecycle of transfer pricing, including transfer pricing model and organisation design, implementation, compliance and dispute resolution. Erica’s clients span a number of sectors but with a particular focus on the consumer, technology, media, and diversified industrials sectors.
