HMRC One to Many letter – Annual investment Allowance Group Claims

HMRC have advised us that they have commenced a One to Many letter campaign directed at companies within the Mid-Sized Business population encouraging them to review their group Annual Investment Allowance (AIA) claims to ensure they do not exceed the annual allowance. The allowance for the year under review is £1m. Companies in the recipient population should have started to receive the letters over the last few weeks.

HMRC are asking recipients to review their group return in line with the legislation and amend it, if necessary, within the relevant amendment period.
