HMRC have provided us with some additional information explaining who can use the service, how to access support and some examples of the requests the Team can deal with. You should note that since HMRC provided us with the additional information the name of the Team has been changed to ‘Customer Support Team’.
Any agent with a Government Gateway ID, regardless of the size of the agent, can access the system using their own Government Gateway ID and seek support for a mid sized business client by entering their client’s UTR and other details once inside the system, provided their query does not relate to one for which there is already another dedicated team within HMRC that they can contact.
