Import/export: HMRC Webinar on the New Computerised Transit System phase - 15 May 2024
The Joint Customs Consultative Committee has contacted its stakeholders to publicise an upcoming HMRC webinar about its New Computerised Transit System phase 5 (NCTS5) which is the portal for importers and exporters to submit electronic transit declarations or movements between the UK, the EU and other common transit countries. As you may be aware, the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) phase 5 (NCTS5) will be introduced from 1 July 2024. To prepare users for this change, HMRC are conducting a series of webinars to provide key information around NCTS5; what it means for you; and how you can prepare. HMRC held their first webinar in March and have produced responses to the key questions raised there in the FAQ document.
HMRC will be holding another webinar at 1pm on 15 May 2024, it is expected to last around an hour - the agenda is as follows:
