Welcome from Scottish Borders Branch Chair, Steven Turnbull 

As one of the more rural branches in the network we aim to provide tailored CPD which focuses on the issues that matter to our members whilst ensuring our programme can appeal to all, from the tax specialist to the general practitioner. 

With members both sides of the Border and the increased divergence in the Scottish Rate of Income Tax it is important that our seminars cover issues applicable to taxpayers under both tax codes and we have introduced a seminar to deal specifically with Scottish Taxes from a renowned speaker on this subject matter. 

Being such a rural branch we work closely with ICAS as this allows shared resources and provides a wider network of speakers and attendees and we are fortunate that ICAS hold a shared annual tax update in the spring.
