CIOT Achievements in 2024

2024 has been a significant year for the Institute as we surpassed 20,000 members; it has also been a year of political change, continued growth in the digital economy, and a growing focus on the impact of AI, and with this an ever evolving tax landscape. This year we have revised the Diploma in Tax Technology (DITT) syllabus to ensure it is up to date and remains relevant to tax professionals.
We support members through our weekly CTA news e-bulletins, our Tax Adviser magazine, Technical News and extensive programme of events and webinars through our Branch Network. During 2024 we have delivered 61 face to face events and 37 webinars attracting over 8,400 attendees.
The 2024 Annotated Finance Act is available to CIOT members to download as a pdf from the secure members area of your portal account: ATT/CIOT Portal - Members Area (tax.org.uk).
We thank you for your ongoing support of the Institute and always welcome approaches from members who are keen to support the Institute and your profession through volunteering. We will continue to listen to your needs and ensure our qualifications remain relevant for the tax professional of the future.
