Important: Upcoming Tube Strikes on 12 November – Plan Your Travel in Advance
Please be aware that a London Underground strike is scheduled for Tuesday, 12 November. Severe disruptions are expected, with limited to no service across most Tube lines. We strongly advise you to plan your travel in advance, considering alternative routes, as other services are likely to be very busy.
For the latest updates, visit the Transport for London (TfL) website at TfL Strikes.
Contacting us between 12 – 14 November 2024
We are not able to deal with any phone enquiries on the days of the tax exams (including voicemail messages). This is because we need to prioritise responding to exam related emails and this takes all our resources. If your query relates to the exams taking place that day (please make it clear in the subject line) it will be answered as a high priority and as soon after receipt as possible. Our inbox is constantly monitored during the exams. As explained in your candidate email, if need to contact us, use this address: [email protected]
For any other education queries, also email [email protected] rather than calling us on exam days. Your query will be directed to the appropriate person and responded to as soon as possible but bear in mind exam related emails will be prioritised. Please do not use any other email address or your query may take longer to receive a reply.
Guidance Information for November 2024 Exams
To stay informed about any updates to the software, students are advised to review all guidance pages on our website before each exam session. The comprehensive guidance page can be found here, and a video tutorial on fetching exam papers is available here. Additionally, assistance with ending and submitting an exam can be seen through our video guidance here.
Following our analysis of the May 2024 session, most issues related to paper fetching and exam submission were attributed to unfamiliarity of the user with the operation of the exam software. Please make sure you to utilise our guidance for a smooth exam experience.
Candidate Instructions
Candidate instructions for the November 2024 exams have now been sent out. Please check all available folders in your inbox if you believe you have not received this e-mail. If you are still unable to locate your candidate instructions then please contact us.
Remote CBE availability for Mac users using the MacOS 15 (Sequoia) operating system
It will not be possible, at this present time, for students using a Mac device running the MacOS 15 (Sequoia) version of the operating system to take a CBE remotely. MacOS 15 (Sequoia) contains features that are presently incompatible with systems designed to protect the security and integrity of the exams.
If you have booked a CBE and had planned to use a Mac running this OS, and have no access to a suitable alternative device, you will need to arrange to take your CBE at a test centre. To make this change please call Prometric’s booking team directly on +44 (0)161 868 3122. Their opening hours are 09:00 – 17:00 BST, Monday – Friday.
We do expect to be able to resolve this issue in the medium term but present estimates are that it is unlikely to be resolved before mid-November at the earliest.
Moving on from ATT to CTA?
