"As a partner at ATC Management Consultants, I have dedicated 19 years to the field of taxation, gaining extensive experience in both local and international tax matters. In addition to holding the ADIT qualification, I am a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Throughout my career, I have assisted clients with tax filings, tax audits, and transfer pricing documentation. I have reviewed pricing policies to ensure compliance with both local and international regulations, an area that has gained significant importance in Egypt following the recent introduction of transfer pricing regulations and associated penalties for non-compliance. Furthermore, I have advised multinational corporations on the application of double tax treaties for cross-border transactions and facilitated discussions with local tax authorities to obtain their opinions on various international tax matters.
International tax is a dynamic and evolving field, and I am deeply committed to continuous learning and professional engagement. As an ADIT Champion, I am eager to promote the qualification and strengthen the International Tax Affiliate network in Egypt. I plan to achieve this by attending webinars, events, and collaborations with local tax societies and professionals. Egypt presents a strong opportunity for growth in this field, as there is a growing demand for expertise in international tax.
